What location should I go to for DENTAL CARE? Or Optical?
ALL THREE LOCATIONS WILL PROVIDE ALL THREE TYPES OF CARE. You should go to the site that is closest and most convenient for you. DENTAL, VISION AND MEDICAL CARE will be available at
LOCATIONS - North Dover, South Dover and Towne Point Elementary Schools.
I see the signs that say “NO COST” Medical, Dental and Vision Care August 1-9th and the news has reported FREE - that is the same thing, right?
It is the same when it comes to how much it will cost the constituent/patient - which is nothing. However it is not exactly “free”. It costs to transport people, supplies, staffing, advertising, and so on. But those costs are covered through the organizations and agencies working to put the event together in our community.
Do I or can I schedule an appointment for care?
We are not doing appointments. Each clinic site will be open daily from 8am-4pm and will see people on a first come first serve basis.
I do not have any medical insurance - can I still be seen?
ABSOLUTELY! There are no out of pocket costs for you to come, to be seen and to receive care.
Can I get my COVID-19 vaccine here?
No, we are not doing vaccines but they are readily available at many locations across Delaware. Please go to https://coronavirus.delaware.gov for additional information on how to get your vaccine.
Who can I contact if I have more questions?
Donyale Hall is the Community's IRT Program Coordinator and can be reached at 302-399-8838
